====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 10-10-2018 Heard Sri Sanjay Kumar Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Parmanand Prasad, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.
The present petition has been filed with a prayer to extend the period of surrender. By order dated 26.06.2018 passed in Cr.Misc.No.33340 of 2018, the petitioner was extended the privilege of anticipatory bail with condition to appear and surrender within six weeks. Meaning thereby that the petitioner wants modification of the order, which, according to me, is not permissible under Section 362 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The modification petition stands dismissed.
