2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Laukariya PS Case No. 53 of 2024 for the offence under sections 341, 323, 346, 379, 34, 376(D)A), 504 of the IPC lodged on 07.06.2023 by the informant, Lal Bahadur Uraon.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while returning from relative's house, was stopped by this petitioner and one Munna Kumar and they started beating him, he tried to escape but other friends also came and thrashed him. Further, the victim was taken to the near sugarcane field. The informant kept on searching for the whole night and only in the morning hour, she could be found, whereafter taken for treatment and then the FIR. The FIR was lodged on 06.06.2023
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71122 of 2023(7) dt.25-11-2024 2/2 and immediately thereafter, the petitioner came into judicial custody since 08.06.2023 (para-14 of the petition).
4. Considering the fact, the trial court report was called for which is on record, according to which, prosecution evidence has been closed after 13 prosecution witnesses were examined and further request has been made on 18.10.2024 that in three months' period, the trial shall be concluded.
5. Taking into consideration the aforesaid facts as also the implication of the petitioner, this bail application stands rejected with a direction to the Trial Court to conclude the trial within a period of three months as undertaken. (Rajiv Roy, J) perwez U T
