JUSTICE RAJESH KUMAR VERMA ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) 10-11-2025 In the present writ petition, the petitioner prays for the following relief/s:

"(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions in the nature of writ of mandamus for commanding and directing respondents to stop erecting Statute of goddess Durga in the Premises campus of High School, Manikpur, Suryagarha in district-

Further for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus to stop to organise Mela' in High School Manikpur, Susryagarha, Lakhisarai in the eve of coming Durga Puja.

The Uchcha Madhyamik School Manikpur is a Govt. institution and due to erecting the Statue of goddess Durga and organising Mela, the education of students of poor people effected. (ii) Further for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation filed by petitioner for not organising Durga Puja Image of Maa Durga in School campus.

There are many gairmazurua lands in village Manikpur and as such the respondents may erect statute of Goddess Durga other than school campus.

(iii) For any other relief or reliefs which may deem fit and proper to the petitioner in the facts and circumstances of the case."

2. Regarding the redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, he has made a representation vide 'Annexure-6' to the present writ application before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Lakhisarai (Respondent No. 5).

3. The Sub-Divisional Officer, Lakhisarai (Respondent No. 5) is directed to look into the matter and, after giving an opportunity to all the Stakeholders, pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.

3. With the aforesaid directions, the present writ application stands disposed of.
