JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 28-10-2024 The present writ has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of writ/writs in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to pay the subsidy amount of the Harvester purchased by the petitioner from the loan amount disbursed by the State Bank of India, Sareja Branch, Buxar. (ii). For commanding the respondent, especially the respondent No. 3, i.e. the District Agriculture Officer, Buxar, Bihar, to pay the subsidy amount with regard to the Harvester purchased by the petitioner.

(iii). For asking the respondents as to why the subsidy amount has not yet been paid, although the petitioner purchased the equipment in the year 2009.

Patna High Court CWJC No.16544 of 2024(2) dt.28-10-2024 2/2 (iv). For directing the respondents to pay subsidy amount to the petitioner with interest at the rate of 14%.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Director, Department of Agriculture, Government of Bihar, Patna, i.e. the Respondent No. 2, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, the petitioner approaches the Respondent No. 2, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off, by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
