2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has served a copy of this bail petition today to Sri Arvind Kumar, learned counsel for the Vigilance .

3. Sri Arvind Kumar, learned counsel for the Vigilance prays for some time to file counter affidavit in this case.

4. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 27 of 2023 corresponding to Special Case No. 18 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is in jail from 12.07.2023 in a trap case for accepting a bribe of Rs.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72815 of 2023(2) dt.09-11-2023 2/2 20,000/-, I am not inclined to adjourn any further, therefore, this application for regular bail is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Patna in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 27 of 2023 corresponding to Special Case No. 18 of 2023.
