The matter has been listed under the heading "For Orders" under the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Section 364A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Prosecution case in short, is that while the informant's grandson was playing outside his house, the petitioner with his associates came there from motorcycle and kidnapped the informant's grandson and demanded ransom of Rs. 5,00,000/- It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79780 of 2019(5) dt.07-09-2020 2/2 of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The petitioner happens to be Mausa of the victim and due to family dispute, the present case has been instituted. It has further been submitted that the parties have compromised the dispute and the informant does not want to pursue the matter. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Rohit Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Purnea in connection with Sarsi P.S.
