The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 155 of 2018 dated 03.06.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 447, 448, 147, 148, 341, 323, 380, 307, 354(B), 506 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant has alleged that in an effort to dispossess her from 79 decimals of land which had been donated to him under the "Bhudan Scheme", the accused persons including the petitioners assaulted him and also took away his personal belongings in the nature of ornaments and cash quantified at Rs. 25000/-. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has submitted that the allegations are general and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64044 of 2018(2) dt.13-12-2018 2/2 omnibus in nature. In fact, the present case is a counter blast to Raniganj P.S. Case No. 156 of 2010 which has been lodged by co-accused persons viz. Amar Kumar against the informant and others. In the aforesaid occurrence for which Amar Kumar has reported against the informant and others, the petitioners and others have received grievous injuries on their persons. The petitioners do not have any criminal antecedents.

For the aforestated facts viz. general and omnibus allegation and clean antecedents of the petitioners they are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 155 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
