The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 307, 323, 34, 341, 498A, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently Section 302 IPC has been added.

In pursuance to the order dated 04.01.2023, status report of trial in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No. 169 of 2019 has been received and kept at Flag-A, in which it is reported that out of 09 charge-sheet witnesses, 06 witnesses have been examined and at present this case is running at the stage of prosecution evidence.

Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, their

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70096 of 2022(4) dt.21-06-2023 2/2 payer for bail is rejected in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No. 169 of 2019 pending before the court of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge 1st cum Special Judge, Sheohar.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months. If the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period, the petitioners will be at liberty to renew their prayer for bail.
