JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 25-11-2019 This Court disposed of C.W.J.C. No.11437 of 2015(Kanhaiya Prasad Singh Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors.) by passing the order which is reproduced in toto as under: "The grievance of the petitioner is that qualified Inspectors (Weight & Measure) are not being appointed even though Bihar Agriculture Subordinate Service Category-8 (Weight and Measure) Rules, 2014 has been framed.

2. In the counter affidavit, the assertion is that the requisition has been sent to Bihar Staff Selection Commission and the process regarding appointment is in progress.

3. In view of the said fact, the writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the State respondents shall complete the process of appointment as expeditiously as possible."

From the affidavit filed by the State, it is clear that the process of selection was initiated and candidates selected.

Shri Sarvesh Kumar Singh orally submits that pursuant thereto selected candidates also stand appointed. Learned counsel points out that from the response filed by the petitioner it is evident that certain posts are still vacant.

Well it is not the subject-matter of the present lis and the petitioner may initiate appropriate application with regard to the same in accordance with law.
