1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Aarlin Moncy, learned SC-24 for the State, Mr. Anirban Kundu and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 5, Mr. Ajay Kumar.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the instant contempt application was filed for initiating a proceeding of contempt against the I.G., Registration, Government of Bihar, Patna for deliberately violating the order dated 22.07.2025 passed in CWJC No. 744 of 2025 on the ground that this Court had directed the I.G., Registration to adjudicate the lis in between the petitioner and the private respondent, but the I.G., Registration, instead of deciding the lis, had constituted a two member committee for deciding the lis. It is submitted that the I.G., Registration, realizing his mistake, dissolved the Committee and has adjudicated the lis in between the parties by an order dated 21.10.2025 (Annexure- R/B).

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner assails the order on various grounds, one of the grounds is that the I.G., Registration without giving proper opportunity of hearing has adjudicated the lis, on which the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the issue being raised by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner cannot be adjudicated in the present proceeding.

4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the Court is not inclined to proceed with the contempt

Patna High Court MJC No.3336 of 2025(3) dt.31-10-2025 3/3 application, as such, the contempt application is dismissed, however, the same would not denude the petitioner of his right to challenge the order dated 21.10.2025 passed by the I.G., Registration, Government of Bihar, Patna in an appropriate proceeding.
