2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bheldi P.S. Case No. 153 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections-341, 342, 323, 384, 385, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
3. Allegedly, two named and three unknown persons came at the mobile shop of the informant and demanded extortion money. On refusal, the accused persons are said to have taken cash of Rs. 12,000/- from his cash box.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and he has falsely been implicated in the present case due to village politics. The
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73293 of 2023(2) dt.09-11-2023 2/2 co-accused, Manish Kumar and Gajendra Kumar have been granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate bench of this court vide orders dated 28-06-2022 & 16-07-2022 passed in Cr. Misc. Nos. 37602 of 2022 & 39636 of 2022 respectively and, the case of the petitioner stands exactly on similar footing to that of coaccused.
5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Shiv Kumar Sintu, learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Chapra in connection with Bheldi P.S. Case No. 153 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) Cr. P.C. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) A.K.V.//- U T
