Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case No. 03 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 313 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Complainant (wife of the petitioner) alleged that her husband (petitioner) and her in-law's have brutally assaulted her and forcibly took her in a Bolero vehicle and pushed her at a lonely place in her pregnancy due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent. He has been falsely implicated in this case.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.67316 of 2018(2) dt.26-11-2018 2/2 No specific allegation is against petitioner. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. He neither demanded dowry to the complainant nor tortured her. He has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 17.08.2018. Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case No. 03 of 2014.
