2. This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 24.04.2019 passed by this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 19015 of 2016, whereby the District Magistratecum-Licensing Authority, Patna was directed to take fresh decision for grant of arms licence to the petitioner in the light 2016 Rules.

3. Opposite Party Nos. 1 to 4 have filed the show cause.

4. Opposite Party No. 2 is the District Magistrate, Patna.

5. In paragraph 11 of the show cause filed by the Opposite Party Nos. 1 to 4, it has been stated that the application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence was considered in the light of Section 13(3)(b), Section 14(1)(b)(ii) of the Arms Act, 1959 and Rule 12(3)(a) of the Arms Rule, 2016, whereafter the petitioner's application was rejected vide Memo No. 4690 dated 06.12.2019. The aforesaid rejection order of the District Magistrate, Patna has also been enclosed as Annexure C to the show cause filed by the Opposite Party Nos. 1 to 4.

6. In view of the above, I find that the order dated 24.04.2019 passed by this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 19015 of 2016 has been complied with by the Opposite Parties.

7. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed and disposed of.
