Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No. 57 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 25 (1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. Allegation against petitioner is of recovery of one loaded country made pistol from his possession. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case due to highhandedness of police. Nothing has been recovered from his possession. He has no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 30.03.2018.
