JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-11-2025 This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "1. To direct the respondents especially respondent no. 5 i.e. the CO Jehanabad to issue rent receipt from the year, 2018-19 to till date in favour of the petitioner with respect to the land bearing Khata No. 573, Plot No. 1480, area 1.17 Acres, situated at Mauza- Pandui bearing Thana No. 351 under Jehanabad Block in the district of Jehanabad. II. Also for any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found to be entitled in the eye of law."

2. Mr. Sunil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Kumar Alok, learned SC-7 for the State respondents are present and they are heard.

3. The main grievance raised by the petitioner in this writ petition is that his application dated 17.04.2025 filed before the Circle Officer, Jehanabad, respondent no.5 for fixation of rent in connection with his land is not being decided by the said Circle Officer.

4. This court is of the view that the issue raised by the petitioner is premature for consideration by this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, however, the Circle Officer, Jehanabad is directed to decide the petitioner's application (Annexure-3) at the earliest, preferably, in the next three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
