The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bishampharpur P.S. Case No. 08 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a), 38 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2019.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is neither owner of the alleged vehicle nor he is engaged in any illegal activity of liquor.
