The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 432(C) of 2016 registered under Sections 323, 341, 506/498A of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of S.D.J.M., Masaurhi, Patna.

Submission is that petitioner, who happens to be the husband of the complainant, is quite innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42826 of 2017 (6) dt.04-12-2017 2/2 that petitioner is husband and there is direct allegation of demand of dowry and causing cruelty by setting on fire with intention to kill her against the petitioner.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the allegation, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this application is rejected.
