This writ petition has been filed for issuance of appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) to the respondent for following relief(s):- i) To quash the memo no. 2892 dated 08.04.2024 issued by the IG, Prisons and Correctional Service, Bihar whereby and where under a punishment of withholding two annual increments of pay of the undersigned with censure has been

Patna High Court CWJC No.16446 of 2025(2) dt.13-10-2025 2/3 imposed upon the petitioner and also direct to the petitioner will not be paid anything other than subsistence allowance during the period of suspension.

ii) To further direct the respondent authority to grant all consequential benefit after set aside the order dated 08.04.2024.

During the course of the argument, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed an appeal before the Home Secretary, Department of Home, Govt. of Bihar, Patna against the order dated 06.04.2024 contained in Memo No. 2892 dated 08.04.2024 issued by the I.G. Prisons and Correctional Service, Bihar by which a punishment of withholding two annual increments of pay of the undersigned with censure has been imposed upon the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that he shall be satisfied if this Court passes an order for early disposal of the appeal pending before the Home Secretary, Department of Home, Govt. of Bihar, Patna.

5. In view of the above discussions, the pending appeal of the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of by the Home Secretary, Department of Home, Govt. of Bihar, Patna, in accordance with law, by a speaking order after hearing

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
