The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Jakkanpur P.S.Case No.186 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The petitioners are mother-in-law and the sister-in-law of the informant. The informant was married to Gopal Prasad in the year, 2012 and she filed the case in the year, 2016 but she did not make any specific allegation of demand of dowry or torture against the petitioners.
Considering the above facts aforesaid and that there is
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10529 of 2017 (2) dt.15-03-2017 2/2 no specific allegation against the mother-in-law and the sister-inlaw of the informant, the petitioners above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M., Patna in connection with Jakkanpur P.S.Case Case No.186 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
