This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 30 of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

One hundred and twenty-two bottles of foreign liquor were recovered from pick-up-van. Allegation is that the petitioner was escorting the same on a motorcycle.

Submission of the petitioner is that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 16.11.2016.

Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 442 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, or the successor Court.
