The petitioner is accused in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 448 of 2018, registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 142 pouches, each containing 200 ml liquor, from possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 24.07.2018.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71217 of 2018(2) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge Excise Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 448 of 2018. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
