The petitioner apprehend his arrest in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No.144 of 2022, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 356, 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The case of the prosecution as per written report of the informant Saroj Kumar is that his bag in which he kept money, mobile and other articles has been snatched by some unknown persons who were riding on motorcycle when he was returning after collection of money.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and have committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. No such occurrence, in the manner as alleged, has ever taken place. The allegation

He further submits that during the investigation one person was apprehened and he disclosed the name of the petitioner. Petitioner has five criminal antecedent. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail by submitting that the petitioner is also involved in the present case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case as well as considering the nature of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on his behalf is hereby rejected. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
