2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Dehri (T) Police Station Case No. 54 of 2025, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 379, 420, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the first information report, the petitioner used to visit his maternal village where he was having a private shop in Dehri. During his visit, the petitioner came in contact with the informant's family and her younger daughter. The petitioner persuaded the daughter of the informant to invest in plywood business and for which the informant's daughter all together gave a sum of Rs. 15,00,000/- to the petitioner on various dates. A receipt/cheque of Rs. 6,00,000/- was given by
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68419 of 2025(2) dt.08-10-2025 2/3 the petitioner towards repayment, but the same was found to be forged and fabricated and could not be encashed.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case in order to pressurize him to perform marriage with the informant's daughter. Petitioner is not having any shop at Dehri rather the shop is of his maternal uncle.
5. From perusal of the F.I.R. it is apparent that the informant claimed to be a poor lady and it does not stand to reason that she would give huge amount of Rs. 15,00,000/- to the petitioner for running the plywood business.
6. Having regard to the submission made on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation and the fact that the allegation arises out of money/business transaction, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. This application is, accordingly, allowed.
8. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional
