2. Heard Mr. P.N. Shahi, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. Shivam and Mr. Jharkhandi Upadhyay, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. This is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of bail. Earlier his application was rejected vide order dated 13.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 20236 of 2024.

4. The S.H.O., Hajipur Town Police Station and the Investigating Officer of the case have appeared personally on the direction of this Court.

5. The S.H.O. has informed this Court that in the trial, the attendance of eight witnesses was filed on the last

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72731 of 2024(4) dt.21-02-2025 2/2 occasion, but due to paucity of time, only one witness was examined in the Court.

6. The S.H.O. Hajipur Town Police Station has assured this Court that all the witnesses will be examined regularly and the prosecution will not delay the trial.

7. In these circumstances, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is again rejected. It is accordingly dismissed. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Saif/- U T
