Petitioner seeks bail in Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No.244 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 414 Indian Penal Code.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that Lalu Yadav was apprehended by the police with stolen motorcycle. He could not produce any valid paper with regard to motorcycle. Lalu Yadav disclosed name of the petitioner having purchased the motorcycle from him. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner has no concern with aforesaid motorcycle. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that coaccused, Lalu Yadav, has already been granted regular bail by
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66902 of 2018(2) dt.20-11-2018 2/2 co-ordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 07.09.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.41273 of 2017.
Petitioner is in custody since 16.07.2018.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No.244 of 2017, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
