The petitioner seeks bail in Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 257 of 2016 under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

It is alleged that petitioner after seeing the police fled away after leaving the motorcycle bearing registration no. BR.30K.8800. From the said motorcycle 24 bottles of Nepali liquor were recovered.

It appears that petitioner is in jail since 12.12.2016 for recovery of small quantity of Nepali liquor. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14934 of 2017 (2) dt.19-04-2017 2/2 of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana at Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 257 of 2016.
