This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is of sexual harassment to the niece of the informant.
The statement of the victim-girl reveals that she has alleged sexual harassment.
However, the matter appears to be love affairs and submission is that under pressure of the parents, false statement has been made under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The petitioner is in custody since 15.02.2017.
The learned counsel for the State opposed the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14301 of 2017 (3) dt.03-05-2017 2/2 prayer for bail.
Considering the facts and circumstances, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 69 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge I-cum-Special Judge, West Champaran at Bettiah, or successor Court.
