The petitioner is languishing in custody in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

There is recovery of 144 litres of illicit liquor from a car.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is neither owner of the seized vehicle nor he has any concern with the recovery of seized illicit liquor.
