Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has approached this Court for the following reliefs:- (i) For directing the authorities to grant promotion to the petitioner in the scale of Graduate Teacher w.e.f. 27.03.2017 as the other teachers who were appointed along with the petitioner on the basis of matriculation have already been promoted in the scale of grade pay of Rs.4600/- (ii) To grant all the consequential benefits of promotion w.e.f. 27.03.2017.

(iii) For any other relief to which the petitioner may be found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of this case.

He further submits that the persons who were junior from

Patna High Court CWJC No.18519 of 2022(3) dt.10-02-2025 2/2 the petitioner have been granted promotion but the petitioner has been kept deprived from it.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.3. It has been stated that a meeting of District Promotion Establishment Committee will be conducted in the last week of December 2024, in which the grievance of the petitioner shall be reconsidered.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties, I direct the respondent concerned to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion within a period of two months from the date of production/receipt of a copy of this order. 6.

The authorities concerned is directed to pay the consequential benefits from the year 2017 to the petitioner, if any, within a period of six months.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application stands disposed of.
