JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 12-04-2017 The petitioner has earlier moved before this Court for grant of bail, which was dismissed vide order dated 23.02.2017 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 8026 of 2017, with liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the charge has been framed on 24.03.2017, which fact has been mentioned in paragraph no. 9 of the petition and petitioner is in custody since, 02.01.2017 for about three months. Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and considering the fact that the injury is grievous in nature, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

No.17789 of 2017 (2) dt.12-04-2017 2/2 However, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, and if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself, which will be considered on the basis of the evidence collected by that time. Accordingly, this application is dismissed at this stage.
