The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 48 of 2017 registered under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Accusation is that the petitioner was apprehended by the police with 32 litres of country made liquor near the railway goods godown, Mehadiganj, Sasaram.

Submission is that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 28.1.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19392 of 2017 (3) dt.05-05-2017 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Excise Case No. 48 of 2017.
