JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 18-10-2019 The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Pipra Kothi P.S. Case No. 102 of 2019, dated 21.04.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 188, 341, 323, 504, 427 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that about 50 - 60 persons, including females had entered the police station in protest and had damaged many vehicles. They are also alleged to have obstructed the free flow of traffic on NH-28A.

The petitioners have a different story to narrate. With respect an occurrence involving a co-villager, a case was lodged in which no action was being taken by the police. When the petitioners and others had gone to protest against the inaction of the police, they have been made accused in this case.

Considering the aforestated facts and taking into account that no specific accusation has been levelled against the petitioners above-named, they, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to
