2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with M.U. P.S. Case No. 66 of 2025 instituted for the offences under Sections 123, 103(1) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per prosecution case, the accusation against the accused persons including the petitioner is of assaulting and torturing the deceased for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. It is also alleged that on the alleged day of occurrence, they fed her with the poison and seeing the precarious conditions of the deceased, she was taken to the hospital by her husband and other in-laws including the

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged against her and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is no specific or direct allegation of any overt act against the petitioner rather the same is general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and has never demanded any dowry and the petitioner has nothing to do with the affairs between the deceased and her husband. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged occurrence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is languishing in judicial custody since 24.04.2025 without any rhymes or reason.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Having heard rival contention of both the parties and considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, there being no specific allegation, the period of custody of the petitioner as also the petitioner being lady, let the

No.69071 of 2025(2) dt.07-10-2025 3/3 petitioner, abovenamed, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with M.U. P.S. Case No. 66 of 2025.
