2. Writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to make payment of due amount of differential of salary which is due as the petitioner was promoted to the post of Lecturer (selection grade) with effect from 20.3.2002 vide notification dated 28.1.2019 but the differential of salary has not been paid to him till date. In this regard, petitioner's representations dated 7.6.2024 and 19.7.2024 (annexures P/4 and P4/1) are still pending before the Registrar of the University ( respondent no.6).

3. In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, let respondent no.6 examine the claim of the petitioner and dispose of his representations by a reasoned and

4. Writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.

5. Steps shall be taken by the respondents to pay the consequential arrears, due if any, to the petitioner within four months thereafter.
