Patna High Court CWJC No.7192 of 2017 dt.25-04-2018 2/2 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; State and B.R.A. Bihar University (hereinafter referred to as the 'University').
2. In view of the pleadings on record, it appears that substantial payment of almost Rs. 25 lakhs have been made to the petitioners which are the admitted retiral dues. Though, learned counsel for the petitioners prayed for interest, in view of the fact that the petitioners retired in the year 2015 and within three years, the payments have been made and that too, a substantial amount, the Court finds that in such cases, it may not be appropriate to award further interest.
