2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 327 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.
3. Recovery is of 60 litres of illicit liquor.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 4.9.2023.
5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail by contending that petitioner is having criminal antecedents of same nature.
6. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a lady
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72859 of 2023(2) dt.09-11-2023 2/2 and also the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.
7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court, Patna City in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 327 of 2022
8. The petitioner will visit Bahadurpur Police Station on the every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
