2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1970 of 2022, instituted under Sections 323, 498(A), 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that both parties have compromised and amicably settled their dispute through the process of mediation and the wife is residing with the husband (petitioner) in her matrimonial house.
4. Mediation report dated 27.03.2025 is filed by the learned Mediator to the effect that the dispute between the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74265 of 2024(4) dt.09-04-2025 2/2 parties has been resolved. Both the parties are residing together.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have also conceded the said fact.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of learned counsel for the parties and report of the learned Mediator, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Katihar in connection with Complaint Case No. 1970 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (B.N.S.S.), 2023.
