2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tajpur (Halai) P.S. Case No. 65 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a), 41(i), 41(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3. For a recovery of around 1200 liters of illicit liquor, the petitioner is in custody since 13.9.2024 and he claims to have clean antecedent.
4. Considering the facts of the case and also considering the period of custody, this application is allowed.

5. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (Excise)-02, Samastipur/concerned Court below in connection with Tajpur (Halai) P.S. Case No. 65 of 2022.
6. The Court below, before accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner is directed to verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner. If the Court below finds that the petitioner has criminal antecedent then his bail bonds shall not be accepted by the Court below and if the petitioner is not found to be involved in any other case, his bail bonds shall be accepted.
