This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 861 of 2017 G.R. No. 3609 of 2017, disclosing offences under Sections 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

One Sikandar Mandal was arrested with a stolen motorcycle, who is said to have disclosed the name of this petitioner and others who were involved in committing theft of motorcycles.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said Sikandar Mandal had disclosed name of other accused persons, who have also been granted anticipatory bail by this Court by order dated 14.05.2018 passed in Criminal Misc.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.73784 of 2018(2) dt.21-12-2018 2/2 No.2962 of 2018, order dated 25.09.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 50768 of 2018, order dated 23.07.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 43967 of 2018, order dated 26.04.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. 22220 of 2018 and order dated 16.05.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. 28172 of 2018. Considering the above submission, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within six weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Araria in Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 861 of 2017 G.R. No. 3609 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

This is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall present himself before Police/Court, as the case may be, as and when required and in the event of failure on his part to appear before the Court on two consecutive occasions, his bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled.
