This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Jamui P.S. Case No.267 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 498A, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is the husband of the victim.

Allegation has been levelled against the petitioner and other accused persons that they used to assault and torture the victim for demand of dowry.

The petitioner is in custody since 01.05.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

Considering the nature of allegation as well as the fact that the petitioner has clean antecedent, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamui, in connection with Jamui P.S.
