The petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.896 of 2023 registered for the offence under sections 406, 420, 120-B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioners are the tenants of the complainant and the petitioner nos. 2 and 3 have demanded Rs.4,00,000/- as a loan from the complainant in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75614 of 2025(3) dt.10-03-2026 2/2 order to provide a job to the petitioner no.1 and thereafter, the complainant paid the said amount to one Ram Kumar Rai through a cheque.

Considering the fact that the petitioners have not received the amount rather, the co-accused Ram Kumar Rai has received the amount, this application is allowed.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner, above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., 1st, Danapur, Patna / concerned Court below, in connection with Complaint Case No.896 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482 of the BNSS / 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
