The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chandi P.S. Case No. 295 of 2016, registered under Sections 420,120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A) and 38/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, the name of the petitioner has been disclosed by co-accused having hand in the carrying of foreign liquor, accordingly, the petitioner was apprehended by the Police on 28.03.2017 and since then he is in custody. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
