2. The issue despite being simple has been unnecessarily complicated, partly by the petitioner himself and moreso by the State Bank of India. The mother of the petitioner in her pension account had made the petitioner a nominee. Upon her death, now the

Though, initially learned counsel for the State Bank of India had taken the plea that various formalities are required to be completed which has not been done, today he has modified the stand and has submitted in categorical terms that if the petitioner makes an application to the State Bank of India giving details of his identity proof showing that he is the person who has been nominated in the concerned account and also gives details of the account number in which he wants the money to be credited, the State Bank of India shall act upon the same.

3. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the respondent no. 12 with regard to the aforesaid issue. He shall satisfy the authorities with regard to his identity that he is the same person who has been nominated in the account and shall also furnish his account number so that the amount, in terms of the order of the Treasury Officer, Muzaffarpur as communicated under Memo No. 192 dated 04.09.2015, to the respondent no. 12, copy of which has been made Annexure-5 to the writ petition and which has not been disputed or controverted by learned counsel for the State Bank of India, is credited to his account. The same be done expeditiously and latest within three weeks from the date of the petitioner filing
