The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhagalpur G.R.P.S. Case No. 169 of 2016 dated 3.12.2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(A) of the Bihar State Liquor Ban Excise Act, 2016.
The accusation levelled against the petitioner is with regard to possessing illicit liquor and recovery of the same from him by the police.
It is submitted by the petitioner that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 4.12.2016. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.
