1. The limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present case, is to direct the District Magistrate, Sitamarhi to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner, filed on 04.11.2021, for grant of arms license.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the petitioner has filed an application for grant of arms license, the same shall definitely be disposed off in a fixed time frame.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Sitamarhi to consider the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license and pass a reasoned and a

Patna High Court CWJC No.16960 of 2022(2) dt.19-09-2023 2/2 speaking order, in accordance with law, thereon, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order, in case such an application has been filed and is still pending.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
