2. The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 304(B), 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code .

3. It is alleged that sister of the informant was married with this petitioner Sanjay Kumar Jha on 06.12.2023 and after marriage, petitioner along with other accused persons started demanding dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the same they committed harass and cruelty upon the deceased. Ultimately, accused persons killed the daughter of informant and hid her body and later on, the dead body of the deceased was recovered from the maze field.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is husband of the deceased and he is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case . On the alleged date of occurrence petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence .There is no eye - witness to the alleged occurrence .

Learned counsel for the State opposed the bail petition and submitted that petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is specific and direct allegation against him that he along with other co-accused persons, due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry , have killed the deceased (daughter of informant) and threw the body of the deceased in maize field.

6. Considering the nature of accusation , gravity of offence and other circumstances of the case , prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 17.03.2025 , the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, within the period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Koushik/- U T
