The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 248 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363 and 366-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Allegation is that the accused persons including the petitioner kidnapped the daughter of the informant. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is hereby rejected.
