2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 127(2), 115(2), 117(2), 74, 308(4), 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. Informant, namely, Usha Devi alleged that all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, restrained and assaulted informant and her daughter and extorted Rs. 8 lacs by threatening her.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. As a matter of fact, both parties are co-villagers and informant took loan of Rs. 8 lacs from the petitioner on assurance to return the money
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71981 of 2025(2) dt.14-10-2025 2/2 within two months. When petitioner demanded the loan amount, informant failed to return the same and lodged this false and concocted case against petitioner and others.
5. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation and has got 33 criminal antecedents.
6. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedents, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
