JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 via video conferencing.

By way of the present application, the petitioner has sought for pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No.1592 of 2018 in which cognizance has been taken for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323, 307, 379, 376, 511 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

By order dated 09.12.2019, the matter was referred to Patna High Court Mediation Center in order to explore the possibilities of an amicable settlement.

No.75806 of 2019(4) dt.17-06-2020 2/2 The learned Mediator has submitted his report dated 19.02.2020, which would reflect that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation and the terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by them have been attached with the report.

Considering the totality of the circumstances, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Sadar, Sitamarhi in connection with Complaint Case No.1592 of 2018 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
