The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauni (Garhara) P.S. Case No. 380 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 341, 324, 307, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact the specific allegation of assault is attributed to the co-accused, Amit Tiwari and no specific allegation is leveled against the petitioner. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 28.05.2019.
